11A Worship - The Call of Peter

Greetings Friends in Christ!
We're going to continue studying portraits of ambassadors by looking at Peter. Tracing the life of Peter as he interacts with Jesus and eventually goes on to lead the first generation of the church will paint for us a picture of a fairly regular person, struggling, failing, and growing. I think we'll find that Peter does indeed become the Rock on which the church is built, because his own story reflects the life and call of God's people as a whole. Peter leads the church as an image of it.
