11A Worship - Peter: From Fisher to Shepherd

Greetings Friends in Christ!
We’re coming to the end of Peter’s walk with Jesus in the flesh. As we consider the life of Peter to understand not just his confession, but also his character development, we see in the close of this chapter of Peter’s life the handover of authority to “feed” and “tend”. Peter is being commissioned as a shepherd, beginning a cycle of re-forming a household of the young who grow up to lead. We’ll get to see that the foundation of the church is not in being fed, but in growing to feed.
