As we continue our journey through the gospel of Luke we come to this amazing encounter of Jesus and the leperous man. The disciples have seen Jesus do many things but in this account they are confronted with an aspect of Jesus that challenges everything they were taught and everything they believed about both man and God. Does mercy truly triumph over judgment?
Should they question everything they have been taught and believed? And what does this say about them?
We are confronted with the same questions. Who deserves mercy? Can God heal? Is He willing? Let’s dive deep into this story and see what God has for each of us!
