The Importance of Synagogue (11AM)

When I was a little child my grandmother always took care of me and worried that I was in good health. She knew that if I or someone in the house got sick she could take us to the doctor who was a block from the house where we lived; many people brought the sick to him from many places in the hope that he would care for them and heal them. The doctor served in the armed forces and in his spare time, he was the doctor for our community; he never charged for consultations, treatments or medicines.

Today’s passage is very important and very interesting because it shows the power that Jesus had to preach and teach in the synagogue and the power he has over all illness. Many brought the sick with various diseases to Him for them to be healed. The people had faith in Jesus; they trusted, admired and adored Him. The fame of Jesus began to grow rapidly everywhere. Today, more than 2000 years after all these events happened, we continue preaching the Gospel in all parts of the world and in every language and nation. To God be all the Glory and all the Honor, and Praise forever. Amen!
