Sarah was born and raised in Yakima, Washington. She and her husband Marcus have been married for over 17 years and have four children, Wyatt, River, Silas, and Ella. Sarah grew up attending a Baptist church and Marcus a Catholic church. After going to 7AM mass for two years, Sarah and Marcus realized they needed to make a change. A Presbyterian Church seemed like a good compromise! The Huck family has called Grace home for over 15 years.
Although Christians most of their lives, it wasn’t until they’d been married at least ten years that Sarah and Marcus came to know Jesus in a more personal way. Now, Sarah is passionate about helping people hear God’s voice and establish a personal connection with Father God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Sarah is the Family and Children’s Ministry Director as well as the Women’s Ministry Director at Grace. She also co-leads the Sozo Prayer Ministry.
When Sarah is not watching her children at sporting events or cooking dinner for a houseful of teenagers, you will find her at home, curled up with a good book—by the fire on cool days or relaxing by the pool in the summer. A lover of classical music, opera, and art, Sarah enjoys experiencing God’s beauty and peace in a variety of ways. Sarah loves to dream with God and help create opportunities to build community.
God has given her a special love for the people of Grace and the Yakima community.
