5:45 - SOUP & BREAD MEAL - Garden Room
6:00 - SANCTUARY OPEN FOR PRAYER
6:30 - SERVICE BEGINS IN THE SANCTUARY
The season of reflection as we prepare for Easter (also called Lent) begins Wednesday, February 14. Join us at 5:45pm in the Garden Room for soup & bread, followed by a poignant service at 6:30pm when we symbolically nail our sins to the cross of Jesus.
As the ash from the burnt sins is used to mark our foreheads with the sign of the cross, we are reminded that we are forgiven because of debt He paid for our salvation. The invitation to Communion that follows reminds us again of His sacrifice and forgiveness.
The Sanctuary is open at 6:00 for quiet reflection and prayer.
