Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.  And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.  And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. Rom 8:26-28
Our Praises: Ps 103:1, 20-22 Bless and affectionately praise the Lord, O my soul, and all that is [deep] within me, bless His holy name.  20 Bless the Lord, you His angels, you mighty ones who do His commandments, obeying the voice of His word! 21 Bless the Lord, all you His hosts, you who serve Him and do His will. 22 Bless the Lord, all you works of His, in all places of His dominion; Bless and affectionately praise the Lord, O my soul!  Psalm 98:4-9 Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth; Shout [in jubilation] and sing for joy and sing praises. 5Sing praises to the Lord with the lyre, with the lyre and the sound of melody. 6 With trumpets and the sound of the horn. Shout with joy before the King, the Lord. 7Let the sea thunder and roar, and all the things it contains, the world and those who dwell in it. 8Let the rivers clap their hands; Let the mountains sing together for joy and delight 9 Before the Lord, for He is coming to judge the earth; He will judge the world with righteousness.
Our Need of Salvation: We are experiencing domestic violence, mental health issues, school shootings, porn industry/addiction, abortion, sex trafficking, animosity among people groups.  Isaiah 55:6-7 6 Seek the Lord while He may be found; Call on Him [for salvation] while He is near. 7 Let the wicked leave (behind) his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; And let him return to the Lord, And He will have compassion (mercy) on him, And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.
His Promised Salvation: We are seeing how God continues to bring hope and salvation in the jails.  Dueteronomy 32:39 ‘See now that I, I am He, And there is no god besides Me; It is I who put to death and I who give life.  I have wounded and it is I who heal, and there is no one who can deliver from [the power of] My hand. Psalm 68:19-20 19 Blessed be the Lord, who bears our burden day by day, the God who is our salvation! Selah. 20 God is to us a God of acts of salvation; And to God the Lord belong escapes from death [setting us free].  Romans 1:16  16 I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation [from His wrath and punishment] to everyone who believes [in Christ as Savior], to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 17 For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to faith [disclosed in a way that awakens more faith]. As it is written and forever remains written, “The just and upright shall live by faith.”  Matthew 6: 32 For the [pagan] Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; [but do not worry,] for your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also. 34 “So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Our Response: Following in Jesus ways and bringing salvation to the lost improve the darkness from evil influences.
Matthew 25:35-36, 40  35 For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; 36 I was naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me [with help and ministering care]; I was in prison, and you came to Me [ignoring personal danger].’ 40 The King will answer and say to them, ‘I assure you and most solemnly say to you, to the extent that you did it for one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it for Me.’ Matthew 28:18-20 18 Jesus came up and said to them, “All authority (all power of absolute rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations [help the people to learn of Me, believe in Me, and obey My words], baptizing them in the name (immersing them in the reality) of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always [remaining with you perpetually—regardless of circumstance, and on every occasion], even to the end of the age.”
Yet for this reason I found mercy, so that in me as the foremost [of sinners], Jesus Christ might demonstrate His perfect patience as an example or pattern for those who would believe in Him for eternal life. 17 Now to the King of the ages [eternal], immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
