Our desire and purpose for 24/7 is to “set a watch” by connecting with Grace to pray for our Valley one day each month so that we may experience the blessings of God’s promises 24/7 for 365 days of our year.  Your part is vital to this end.
Yakima Valley 24/7 Prayer
Scripture Support for Prayer Topics

Sunday, April 14
Listen to my words, O Lord, consider my groaning and sighing.  Heed the sound of my cry for help, my King and my God, for to You I pray.  In the morning, O Lord, You will hear my voice; In the morning I will prepare [a prayer and a sacrifice] for You and watch and wait [for You to speak to my heart].   Psalm 5:1-3
OUR PRAISES:
Psalm 98:1-6 O sing to the Lord a new song, for He has done marvelous and wonderful things; His right hand and His holy arm have gained the victory for Him. 2 The Lord has made known His salvation; He has [openly] revealed His righteousness in the sight of the nations. 3 He has [graciously] remembered His lovingkindness and His faithfulness to the house of Israel; All the ends of the earth have witnessed the salvation of our God. 4 Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth; Shout [in jubilation] and sing for joy and sing praises. 5 Sing praises to the Lord with the lyre, with the lyre and the sound of melody. 6 With trumpets and the sound of the horn.  Shout with joy before the King, the Lord.

Psalm 150 Praise the Lord!  Praise God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in His mighty heavens. 2 Praise Him for His mighty acts; Praise Him according to [the abundance of] His greatness. 3 Praise Him with trumpet sound; Praise Him with harp and lyre. 4Praise Him with tambourine and dancing; Praise Him with stringed instruments and flute. 5 Praise Him with resounding cymbals; Praise Him with loud cymbals. 6 Let everything that has breath and every breath of life praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!) through Him.

OUR CRY FOR HELP:
We are burdened by crime, drugs, gangs, homelessness, mental health issues, sexual addictions, economic uncertainty, domestic violence, division among people groups and within churches. We seek your wisdom and guidance for bringing righteous leaders into position in our Valley.

Jeremiah 33:2-3  “Thus says the Lord who made the earth, the Lord who formed it to establish it—the Lord is His name, 3 ‘Call to Me and I will answer you, and tell you [and even show you] great and mighty things, [things which have been confined and hidden], which you do not know and understand and cannot distinguish.’

Ephesians 6:18 With all prayer and petition pray [with specific requests] at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, stay alert with all perseverance and petition [interceding in prayer] for all God’s people.

1 Timothy 2:1-2 First of all, then, I urge that petitions (specific requests), prayers, intercessions (prayers for others) and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all people, 2 for kings and all who are in [positions of] high authority, so that we may live a peaceful and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.

HIS PROMISES:
John 14:1 Do not let your heart be troubled (afraid, cowardly). Believe [confidently] in God and trust in Him, [have faith, hold on to it, rely on it, keep going and] believe also in Me.

1 John 5:4 For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith.

Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. 7 And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours].  1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Rejoice always and delight in your faith; 17 be unceasing and persistent in prayer; 18 in every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.

OUR PRAYER FOR UNITY:
John 17:11 Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are One.

Ephesians 4:2-6 With tender humility and quiet patience, always demonstrate gentleness and generous love toward one another, especially toward those who may try your patience. Be faithful to guard the sweet harmony of the Holy Spirit among you in the bonds of peace, being one body and one spirit, as you were all called into the same glorious hope of divine destiny. For the Lord God is one, and so are we, for we share in one faith, one baptism, and one Father. He is the perfect Father who leads us all, works through us all, and lives in us all!

O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?”  The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin [by which it brings death] is the law; but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory [as conquerors] through our Lord Jesus Christ.  1 Corinthians 15:55-57

LORD, Hear our prayers!  In Jesus' name we pray, AMEN.
