One Nation Under God. We Pray for Increase of His Righteous and Justice to prevail in His People & Nation
For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on His shoulders. And He will be called: Wonderful Counselor Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 7 His government and its peace will never end. He will rule with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David for all eternity. The passionate commitment of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies will make this happen! Isaiah 9:6-7

We Praise You: Psalm 34:1-3 I will praise the Lord at all times. I will constantly speak His praises. 2 I will boast only in the Lord; let all who are helpless take heart. 3 Come, let us tell of the Lord’s greatness; let us exalt His name together. Psalm 147:1-5* Praise the Lord! How good to sing praises to our God! How delightful and how fitting! 2 The Lord is rebuilding Yakima and bringing the exiles back to Yakima. 3 He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds. 4 He counts the stars and calls them all by name. 5 How great is our Lord! His power is absolute! His understanding is beyond comprehension! Hebrews 2:12 For he said to God, “I will proclaim your name to my brothers and sisters. I will praise You among your assembled people.

We Trust Your Promises: Psalm 105:7-9* He is the Lord our God. His justice is seen throughout Yakima. 8 He always stands by his covenant - the commitment he made to a thousand generations. 9 This is the covenant He made with Abraham and the oath he swore to Isaac. Isaiah 59:21 As for Me, this is My covenant with them, says the Lord: My Spirit who is on you, and My words that I have put in your mouth, will not depart from your mouth, or from the mouth of your children, or from the mouth of your children’s children, from now on and forever, says the Lord. Nehemiah 1:6  O Lord, God of heaven, the great and awesome God who keeps His covenant of unfailing love with those who love Him and obey His commands, Listen to my prayer!

We Respond with True Sacrifice: Isaiah 58:3, 6-9 ‘We have fasted before you!’ they say. Why aren’t you impressed? We have been very hard on ourselves and you don’t even notice it, I will tell you why! I respond, It’s because you are fasting to please yourselves even while you fast.  This is the kind of fasting I want: Free those who are wrongly imprisoned; lighten the burden of those who work for you. Let the oppressed go free and remove the chains that bind people. 7 Share your food with the hungry and give shelter to the homeless. Give clothes to those who need them and do not hide from relatives who need your help. 8 “Then your salvation will come like the dawn and your wounds will quickly heal. Your godliness will lead you forward and the glory of the Lord will protect you from behind. 9 Then when you call, the Lord will answer. ‘Yes, I am here,’ He will quickly reply.

We See His Promises Fulfilled: Jeremiah 31:33-34 But this is the new covenant I will make with the people of Israel after those days,” says the Lord. “I will put my instructions deep within them, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. 34 And they will not need to teach their neighbors, nor will they need to teach their relatives, saying, ‘You should know the Lord.’ For everyone, from the least to the greatest, will know me already,” says the Lord. “And I will forgive their wickedness, and I will never again remember their sins. Jeremiah 32:40-41 And I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never stop doing good for them. I will put a desire in their hearts to worship Me, and they will never leave Me. 41 I will find joy doing good for them and will faithfully and wholeheartedly replant them in this land. 2 Peter 1:3-4 By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the one who called us to himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. 4 And because of His glory and excellence, He has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share His divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.

We Envision His Final Victory: Ezekiel 37:26 I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant.  I will establish them and increase their numbers, and I will put my sanctuary among them forever. Revelation 21:1-3 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone. 2 And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among His people! He will live with them, and they will be His people. God himself will be with them.  4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.”

The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. 23 Great is His faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each morning. 24 I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in Him!” 25 The Lord is good to those who depend   on Him, to those who search for Him. 26 So it is good to wait quietly for salvation from the Lord.  Lamentations 3:22-26
