Our desire and purpose for 24/7 is to “set a watch” by connecting with Grace to pray for our Valley one day each month so that we may experience the blessings of God’s promises 24/7 for 365 days of our year.  Your part is vital to this end.
Yakima Valley 24/7 Prayer
Scripture Support for Prayer Topics

Sunday, November 9
We pray because we know that when our prayers align with Gods Heart, it moves
His Hand and transforms our Valley!
As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. Colossians 2:6-7

Our Intercession begins with Praise:
Psalm 100 Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! 2Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! 3 Know that the Lord, he is God!  It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise!  Give thanks to him; bless his name! 5 For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever and his faithfulness to all generations.
Psalm 103:1-2. Bless the Lord, O my soul and all that is within me, bless his holy name! 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul and forget not all his benefits.
Isaiah 24:14-15* They lift up their voices, they sing for joy; over the majesty of the Lord they shout from Yakima.

We Respond with Thanksgiving:
1 Thessalonians 5:17-18  Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
Colossians 1:16. All things in existence, both physical and spiritual, visible and invisible, He created through and for Jesus Christ, establishing Him as the supreme creator and the ultimate purpose of all creation.
Psalms 107:7-8 Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for His wondrous works to the children of man! 9 For He satisfies the longing soul and the hungry soul He fills with good things.
Psalms 92:1-2 It is a good thing to give thanks to the Lord, and to sing praises unto His name, oh Most High.
1 Chronicles 16:8-12. Oh give thanks to the Lord; call upon His name; make known His deeds among the peoples! 9 Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; tell of all His wondrous works! 10 Glory in His Holy Name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice! 11 Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His presence continually! 12 Remember the wondrous works that He has done, His miracles and the judgments He uttered.

We Respond in Giving: by our demonstrations of Gods love. 1 John 3:16-17 We know what real love is because Jesus gave up His life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters. 17 If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion—how can God’s love be in that person?

We Recognize our Needs: The rapid spiritual and moral free fall today is beyond any person’s ability to reverse and heal. We are living in a generation overflowing with conflict and chaos. Masses of our citizens are lost in worldly attractions, corruption, terrorism, financial concerns, immorality, hatred, lies, political wars, as well as leadership crisis on every level. Nations are battling. We need you, Jesus, to be Lord over every area of our lives and lands. Even when the news is discouraging or the future seems uncertain, we press on in intercession because our hope is not in headlines or elections, but in Jesus Christ alone. He is the one who can turn the tide of the Nations and draw every generation to Himself.

We Cry Out to Jesus in Intercession:

1 Timothy 2:1-3 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, 2 for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. 3 This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior.
Romans 8:26-28  Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. 27 And He who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. 28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose.
John 17:20-21 I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word, 21 that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that You have sent Me. that all may be one, as you Father are in Me.
Hebrews 7:24-25  Christ holds His priesthood permanently, because He continues forever. 25 Consequently, He is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

We Trust His Assurances:
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him and he will make straight your paths.
Isaiah 43:1-3, 18-21* But now thus says the Lord, He who created you, O Jacob, He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. 2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned and the flame shall not consume you. 3 For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. “Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. 19 Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert of Yakima. 20 The wild beasts will honor me, the jackals and the ostriches, for I give water in the wilderness, rivers in the desert, to give drink to my chosen people of Yakima, 21 the people whom I formed for myself that they might declare my praise.

I have told you these things, so that in Me, you may have perfect peace. In the world you will have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous, I have overcome the world. John 16:33
