Fully Known… Fully Loved
We continue our series looking at the Psalms, these Ancient Songs that provide a message of encouragement and hope for us in our everyday lives. Today we will be exploring Psalm 139, a well-known Psalm, describing not only an All-Knowing and All-Present God, but a God who knows me (each one of us!) intimately, everything about us, even better than we know ourselves. Sometimes the thought of being so fully known is a bit intimidating, or fearful. Yet when it’s a God of love, it brings comfort and peace, even while encouraging us to always be growing deeper in faith, love, and character. Let’s discover and grow together!
It is also Communion Sunday, in which we celebrate God’s love through Jesus’ death and resurrection, and our being God’s family together.
