The Lord is my light and my salvation - so why should I be afraid?
The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?  Psalm 27:1
But first and most importantly seek (strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—
the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also.  Matthew 6:33
We Praise God for Who He is: Psalm 145:1-3 I will exalt You, my God, O King and [with gratitude and submissive wonder] I will bless Your name forever and ever. 2 Every day I will bless You and lovingly praise You; Yes, [with awe-inspired reverence] I will praise Your name forever and ever. 3 Great is the Lord, and highly to be praised, and His greatness is [so vast and profound as to be] unsearchable [incomprehensible to man]. Psalm 19:1-3 The heavens are telling of the glory of God; and the expanse [of heaven] is declaring the work of His hands. 2 Day after day pours forth speech, and night after night reveals knowledge. 3 There is no speech, nor are there [spoken] words [from the stars]; where their voice is not heard. 1 John 1:5  This is the message [of God’s promised revelation] which we have heard from Him and now announce to you, that God is Light [He is holy, His message is truthful, He is perfect in righteousness], and in Him there is no darkness at all [no sin, no wickedness, no imperfection].
We the Church as His Bride, Expand His Kingdom: We don’t only need to turn our nation “back”, we need to disciple our city and nation toward spiritual maturity.  The cultural shifts and ungodly beliefs needed to be overturned are deep, including in the Church.  They will require not only persevering faith and targeted prayer, but practical application at every level of society – for years to come.  If we want to see long-term transformation, it will require a coming together of generations, ethnicities, genders, and values.  It will require leaders with integrity and a vision for the future.  It will require a prophetic perspective of the Kingdom now in order to keep the territory we so desperately need to take. (Prayer that Sparks National Revival, Wanda Algers, 2019).  Psalm 2:11-12 Worship the Lord and serve Him with reverence [with awe-inspired fear and submissive wonder]; Rejoice [yet do so] with trembling. 12 Kiss (pay respect to) the Son, so that He does not become angry, and you perish in the way, For His wrath may soon be kindled and set aflame. How blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] are all those who take refuge in Him! Mark 1:14-15 Now after John [the Baptist] was arrested and taken into custody, Jesus went to Galilee, preaching the good news of [the kingdom of] God, 15 and saying, “The [appointed period of] time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, regret past sins, live your life in a way that proves repentance; seek God’s purpose for your life] and believe [with a deep, abiding trust] in the good news [regarding salvation].”
We Trust God – Without His Presence, We Experience Darkness: In our desire to see things change in our Nation, let us remember that we are the ones who must change first.  The same power that raised Christ from the dead lives inside us and has power to bring new life to every nation and every tribe.  As we are transformed, everything around us will begin to reflect the power of His Kingdom.  Even as deep darkness (drug addiction, depression & suicide in our youth, legalizing drugs, drug related gang violence, ungodly laws being proposed and passed, suppressing freedom of conscience and worship) continues to cover the earth and wicked rulers challenge Kingdom authority, believers must position themselves in pray in a new way.  Rather than getting stuck on the battlefield in endless skirmishes sent to distract us, we must learn how and when to lay down the sword and take up His scepter.  The church has learned how to “war in the spirit” but we must also learn now to rule in the midst of our enemies.  Prayer that Sparks National Revival, Algers.  Psalm 86 :5,9   For You, O Lord, are good, and ready to forgive [our sins, sending them away, completely letting them go forever and ever]; And abundant in lovingkindness and overflowing in mercy to all those who call upon You. 9 All nations whom You have made shall come and kneel down in worship before You, O Lord, and they shall glorify Your name. 10 For You are great and do wondrous works! You alone are God
We Trust Gods Faithfulness: Psalm 46:10-11 “Be still and know (recognize, understand) that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth.” 11 The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our stronghold [our refuge, our high tower]. Selah.  Isaiah 35:1-2 The wilderness and the dry land will be glad; The Arabah (desert) will shout in exultation and blossom
Like the autumn crocus. 2 It will blossom abundantly and rejoice with joy and singing.  The glory of Lebanon will be given to it,
The majesty of [Mount] Carmel and [the plain] of Sharon. They will see the glory of the Lord, the majesty and splendor of our God.
Isaiah 43:18-19 “Do not remember the former things or ponder the things of the past. 19 “Listen carefully, I am about to do a new thing, now it will spring forth; will you not be aware of it? I will even put a road in the wilderness, rivers in the desert.  Isaiah 55:1-2 “Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; And you who have no money come, buy grain and eat.  Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost [simply accept it as a gift from God]. 2 Why do you spend money for that which is not bread and your earnings for what does not satisfy?  Listen carefully to Me and eat what is good and let your soul delight in abundance. Revelation 21:3-4 “See! The tabernacle of God is among men, and He will live among them, and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them [as their God,] 4 and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be death; there will no longer be sorrow and anguish, or crying, or pain; for the former order of things has passed away.”
Blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the nation whose God is the Lord, The people whom He has chosen as His own inheritance. Psalm 33:12
“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”   1 Corinthians 15.57 (ESV)
