In Philippians 4.4 Paul writes, “Rejoice in the Lord always; again, I will say rejoice!” Always? Yes, always. Even now in the midst of all the chaos, there is still within us the hope and promise of God that allows us to rejoice. Each day that we are given is a gift from God, planned and orchestrated by God, and we can and will “rejoice and be glad in it”, because we are glad in Him. I am rejoicing today for what God is doing in and through Grace of Christ. read more

I don’t know about you, but I did not imagine that we would still be practicing social distancing and staying at home. I don’t know if I was prepared for the long haul. I can endure for two weeks, maybe a month; it can be a bit of exhausting to continue doing what we are doing and not knowing when it will ever end. Give me a timeline, deadline, and I’m good. I may procrastinate, but at least I know there’s a finish line, and I will do what I have to do to finish well...
